As a rule, I'm more of a pancake girl than I am a french toast girl. I find that there's just something about a light, fluffy pancake that goes a long way toward soothing my soul. Today, though, I am craving a thick, sweet slice of french toast.
I blame Bloghungry and this post in particular. Looking at that heap of grilled goodness just about sent me over the edge. It's because of this photo that I'm prepping for a Texas Toast-style french toast Saturday morning. Yes, my craving is just about that big and loud.
In the meantime, though, it's a good thing I have pulled pork burritos to look forward to tonight.
